Why should you become a Friend and how to sign up

The Friends of the Museum has previously operated as an independent charity in support to the Museum’s work. It is now incorporated into the Museum trust, which will create greater opportunities for funding and development. Its continuing mission is to support the museum to safeguard collections linked to the history of the Regiment and promote the stories of those whom served to people today and future generations.

 What Are the Benefits of a Friend's Membership:

• Social contact with like-minded people with an interest in military history, family history and local history, particularly where they link to the Warwickshire Regiment. Members will have exclusive invitations to two specially- themed social events at the museum each year.

News Flash! 'Finding Out About Great Uncle Bill', our first social event on the theme of Family History is open to Friends and all other members of the public on Saturday 25th April 2026, 1pm onwards. There will be some short talks, interesting activities and refreshments provided. Non-Friends, you will be reimburse an entrance fee if you join the Friends that day. • You will receive a monthly Museum e-newsletter.

• You enjoy free admission to the museum all year round taking advantage of the three changing temporary exhibitions as well as family activities in the school holidays.

• Friends have priority on all museum event bookings.

• There is a discount or free admission to special events.

• You receive 10% discount in the museum shop.

• You can have your say about the activities of the Friends through attendance at the special friends meetings.

What Can You Do For the Museum?

• Friends have the opportunity to volunteer at the museum.

• You can support fund-raising initiatives such as museum stalls at public festivals or markets and facilitation at museum events.

• You can promote the museum through your own networks both in person or social media.

What is the Current Annual subscription?

Those within 25 miles of the Museum:
Individual - £14       Family - £20

Those outside of 25 miles (and overseas):
Individual - £10         Family - £15

Group and corporate rates are available on request.
